Our very first Hawkeye trailer gives us Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) partnering with Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld).

Clint Barton has been in the MCU since Phase 1. He made his debut in Thor and then teamed up with the gang in The Avengers. He never got his own film or franchise of his own... until the solo Hawkeye show announced at 2019's San Diego Comic-Con. During the presentation, Kevin Feige confirmed that Hawkeye would include fan-favorite comic hero Kate Bishop.

Two years since that announcement, we have our Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) and set photos of her filming with Renner. We also know we'll be seeing Lucky the Pizza Dog and Alaqua Cox as Echo. The Black Widow post-credits scene confirmed Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova will make an appearance too.
And now we have a trailer.

The trailer shows us that Hawkeye is a Christmas show and the preview focuses on the emotional dynamic between Clint and Kate.
Kate is introduced because she is mistaken for Ronin, Clint's alter-ego.
We get a lot of quick glimpses of characters, including Echo and Kate's Mom Eleanor, played by Vera Farmiga. There's no look at Yelena, however. It looks like Clint and Kate will be dealing with some bad guys he pissed off as Ronin.
You can watch the trailer here:
We also get a look at the post-Endgame world, including Rogers: The Musical, which is a Hamilton-esque in-world musical about Steve Rogers' life. The MCU hasn't confirmed if he's dead or alive, however, so it's possible he's watching his own musical. A quick snippet of the musical is shown in the trailer — we're kind of hoping that they include more of it in the show. It's such a cool way to build out the world! We're excited about the leads' dynamics and can't wait for the show's November release.
Who else is excited? You got it: fans.
