On Thursday night, actress Hayden Panettiere and her on-again-off-again boyfriend Brian Dickerson were involved in a knockdown drag out fight by the Sunset Strip, most of which was caught on video. Panettiere was once a very active and well known performer, appearing on hit TV shows and films like Guiding Light, Ally McBeal, Heroes, Nashville, Bring It On: All or Nothing, Scream 4, and I Love You, Beth Cooper. In recent years, her life seems to have become more fraught with drama, beginning with her separation from ex-fiancé heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko.
TMZ reports that the fight began in a hotel bar, where Dickerson allegedly spit on some other patrons and was kicked out. The fight moved to the street, where quite a few people were getting jumped on by Dickerson. Panettiere seems to try to intervene, warning her boyfriend about "jail."
Which she should, because he's been there before—in fact, he was there after being charged with " corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant, assault, and intimidating a witness" and the person he did this too was Panettiere
After these charges, they briefly separated before coming back together when Dickerson was released. At the time, she issued a statement about domestic abuse, saying, "I am coming forward with the truth about what happened to me with the hope that my story will empower others in abusive relationships to get the help they need and deserve,” she wrote. “I am prepared to do my part to make sure this man never hurts anyone again. I’m grateful for my support system, which helped me find the courage to regain my voice and my life."
Police eventually arrived on the scene of this fight, but everyone had dispersed and no one was charged.
