I'm not going to argue with you: Ewan McGregor having the TIME OF HIS LIFE in the Star Wars prequels was the best part of the Star Wars prequels.

So suffice it to say, I am beyond thrilled that he's staring in the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series for Disney+.

We got a new look at the series on this, May the Fourth (be with you... and also with you), and it teases appearances from Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

The six-episode limited series follows Obi-Wan Kenobi after Anakin went to the dark side in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The first trailer for the show laid out that we're picking up about a decade after that fight. Kenobi is still hiding from Inquisitors who are trying to hunt down one of the galaxy's last Jedis. He's also keeping an eye on young Luke on Tatooine. Of course, Kenobi cannot stay hidden for much longer — a Jedi hunter is on the trail and she's going to find Obi-Wan.

The series will reunite Skywalker with his former teacher for the first time since their battle on Mustafar, when Vader was burned horribly. Unlike the last fight, it sure seems like Vader has the upper hand.

The trailer ends with Darth Vader's trademark inhale and exhale. Hayden Christensen is back as Anakin/Vader. We'll also see Joel Edgerton, Kumail Nanjiani, Moses Ingram and Rupert Friend, and many others.

Christensen said to Entertainment Weekly that it was "amazing" to become Vader again.

"It was mostly a lot of excitement because I had spent enough time with this character and felt like I knew him, and coming back to it felt very natural in a lot of ways. And I was just really excited to get to come in and play Darth Vader at this point in the timeline because it did feel like a natural continuation of your journey with the character. And that was very meaningful for me."
