Oops, we've all done f'd up.

Chris Pratt, notable Hollywood Chris amidst the ranks of Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Chris Pine, has recently confessed in an interview with SiriusXM's Pop Culture Spotlight With Jessica Shaw that he does not, in fact, go by Chris amongst people who know him.

"What do they call you?" Shaw asked him. "Pratt?"

"Yep. Pratt. CP. You know, CP. 'Hey, CP.'" Pratt, or CP, replied. "But no one calls me Chris. My friend, Chad. I went golfing with my friend, Chad, my pastor the other day and he was like, 'No one calls you Chris? I'm gonna call you Chris. Alright, Chris. You're up.' And I was like, 'No, it feels weird. It's not my name. Don't call me Chris.'"

And you know, hey. That's fair.

It's also helpful because it distinguishes Pratt from the rest of the Hollywood Chrises, all of whom seem a little in on the joke.

Last year, Chris Hemsworth trolled Chris Evans with a birthday note... with the wrong Chris.

In the caption, he quipped, "Happy 40th birthday Chris Evans, you’ll always be number 1 in my book" and the photo showcased Chris Pratt, not Chris Evans.

Also hilariously, Chris Pratt's father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger mistakenly called him Chris Evans. He spoke at an Instagram charity event in 2021 and said, "Hello, Chris … Evans, oh not Chris Evans, sorry, I’m going to screw up this whole thing right from the beginning, Chris Pratt."

To be entirely fair, however, Pratt recently confessed some difficulties of his own with Arnold's name to Jimmy Kimmel.

Kimmel asked, "Can I ask you a question? Please be honest... Do you ever have trouble spelling Schwarzenegger?"

Pratt laughed, "I've learned now. Yeah, I've learned now."

Kimmel added: “I have to tell you, when he was governor and I used to have to write it a lot when we were doing the monologue, and every time I have to really think about it."

Pratt sympathized and agreed. He said, "Yeah, it's a long name. There are a lot of letters in these children's names. Schwarzenegger is the second middle name[…] We didn't hyphenate the names – it's a middle name, but I guess maybe that's semantics."

Kimmel then asked who pushed for that naming schematic and if it was Arnold. Pratt quickly said, “No, no, that was Katherine. She’s got his strength! What mama says, goes!"
