Brie Larson's Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel doesn't often get the chance to show off her muscles from all the training the actress does to stay in Marvel-superhero form. So it's pretty exciting when we get a chance to spot them, as we did on Wednesday.
Larson tweeted a couple photos captioned, “My hobby appears to be taking up new hobbies.”
Larson posts photos and Instagram videos of her workouts every so often — below is one of her most-watched videos of her training regimen.
She also uses her YouTube channel to showcase what training for superhero films can look like. She even uploaded a video of her workout for us to follow along and let me say: I like my couch.

Of course, the shot of Larson doing archery has fans whispering about Clint Barton/Hawkeye. Disney+ has a new Hawkeye series coming soon and we know that Hailee Stanfield will appear as Kate Bishop and Florence Pugh will bring Yelena Belova to life in the series. Captain Marvel, however, has not been mentioned as a participant in the new show so while it might be fun to speculate... It's probably not a secret appearance-related hobby.
Other users continued the joke, reposting the original photo and commenting. @R0_Giselle wrote, "What if we saw Carol Danvers as Hawkeye?" while @Rajamic99 noted, "I think they've already cast Katie Kate Hawkeye."
@1KevHamilton also noted the casting: "They already cast the Hawkeye show Brie. Though there is probably an available spot for Green Arrow in @jurneesmollett 's Black Canary movie." My personal favorite response is from @odel_oliver, who asked only: "What If?......Captain Marvel was Hawkeye." What if indeed.
Hawkeye is scheduled to come to Disney+ on November 24th, 2021. It stars Hailee Steinfeld, Jeremy Renner, Vera Farmiga, and Florence Pugh. New episodes will drop on Wednesdays.
