The trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home has reportedly leaked before Sony officially released it. Spider-Man: No Way Home, the third installment of Marvel's Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland as Peter Parker, also includes Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, in a leading role. Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled for a December release and Sony hasn't started the film's marketing campaign yet.

Disney and Sony have been pretty quiet about the film, fueling fan desire for SOME kind of information. There have been reports that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are both returning as the new film handles the multiverse, which opens possibilities of multiple Spider-Men.

While Maguire and Garfield casting rumors are not confirmed, we do know that Alfred Molina is reprising his role as Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2. Jamie Foxx has also been cast as Electro and rumors are also rampant that we'll be seeing Charlie Cox's Daredevil and Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote that the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer leaked and was being shown all over Twitter and TikTok. Sony quickly slapped out copyright notices and removed the videos, indicating that the trailer was likely real. It was also said to be watermarked with Wassila Lmouaci's name, a VFX artist who worked on Thor: Ragnarok.

As for Disney, the marketing president Asad Ayaz told THR, "Sony is absolutely handling the marketing for Spider-Man. Kevin Feige and his team are closely partnering with the Sony team on those. So there is coordination in that sense. We also make sure we are aware of who is dropping what when. But we are not working together on the campaigns because it's their film. They are handling it but there is a level of coordination to make sure that it's a win-win for everybody."

The trailer is rumored to premiere at Las Vegas' CinemaCon, beginning today, which means we would've likely seen at least descriptions by now. But with the leak, Sony may just go ahead and release the whole thing. Kevin Feige said that the trailer will premiere before the film goes to theaters (makes sense).

Spider-Man: No Way Home is probably one of the most anticipated films of the year. Merchandise is already hitting stores and Sony is really playing up the anticipation for the movie. Shang-Chi comes out next week and studios will likely want the Spider-Man trailer to play before that movie.
