Disney+ edited a few things in the hit series Falcon and the Winter Soldier and set up a panic last week among fans but order has been restored!
Marvel's second Disney+ series was at the center of an internet storm last week as fans on Reddit spotted two scenes in the series were changed to lower the amount of blood and violence onscreen.

Hi everyone! Was just re-watching Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and something caught my attention. Episode 3, around 37:45, Bucky throws a metal bar at a woman. Back when it aired, the bar went through her shoulder, pinning it to the container; now it just bounces off.
Has this scene also been changed on your side? Does anyone know if there's a way to switch back to the original scenes? I'm now thinking it's probable more scenes from this show or others were altered. I hope this is not a case of non-negotiable retroactive censorship on Disney's part.

Disney didn't explain why the changes had been made, but speculation was that it was due to Netflix Marvel series sparking parental controls and bringing a TV-MA rating over to Disney+. Basically: parents were worried about kids stumbling onto more adult content on Disney.
A source at Disney+ told Vulture that it was the wrong version of an episode, but it took a while to pull it back down.
The scenes in question were in episode three, Power Broker. Oddly, the most violent scene of the entire series, a U.S. agent murders someone by repeatedly hitting the Captain America shield over his head, remained untouched.
The second altered scene comes when Falcon, Bucky, Zemo, and Sharon are escaping. When Bucky throws a pipe through a baddie's shoulder to pin her against the wall, we see a big change: the pipe misses the antagonist and she pushes herself back. It wound up being pretty cheesy.
As of Monday April 4th, however, all violence was restored and the original episode is back on the air. Good thing because this was a really goofy looking scene.
